- Foster / Apex #2 Articulator
The width at the joint is 1-3/4″ (45 mm) with a vertical parallel height of 2-1/8″ (54 mm) and condylar inclination of 25˚. The small size of this articulator allows the versatility to use for full or partial work and it is very comfortable to hold in one hand. Catalog 50 and 50A feature identical dimensions. Catalog 50 is die cast and chrome plated, while catalog 50A is constructed of solid brass. - Foster #8 Articulator
This articulator is 2-5/8″ (67 mm) wide at the condyle with a 12˚ condylar inclination, and has a vertical parallel clearance of 2-5/8″ (67 mm). Catalog 51 and 51A feature identical dimensions. Catalog 51 is die cast and chrome plated and catalog 51A is cast in solid brass. - Foster #3 Articulator with Anterior Pin
Parallel clearance, condyle width and inclination are the same as the #51 articulator. This articulator is equipped with an adjustable anterior pin stop and posterior screw stop, and constructed of a slightly heavier gauge brass giving the articulator a more solid feel. - Foster #7 Articulator with Anterior Pin
Extra wide 3-1/2″ (89 mm) at the condyle with a vertical parallel clearance of 2-3/4″ (70 mm), with adjustable anterior pin stop and posterior screw stop. Condylar inclination is 12˚. This articulator is die cast and chrome plated to give it a long-lasting bright silver finish that will not tarnish.
QUADRANT / CROWN & BRIDGE STYLES
- Foster Crown & Bridge Articulators
The #57 articulator has a vertical span of 1-3/4″ (45 mm) when bows are parallel, while the #57A features a full 2″ (51 mm) parallel clearance between upper and lower bows. Both articulators have a rear adjustable stop.
